The term “gentleman” now gives us a picture of a man, but a few years ago, it meant something very different. To qualify for true gentleman is a compliment to the days of corsets and carriages. A man was seen as someone who was highly regarded by the people around him. He says more fashionable clothes and wore the most charming personality. Men were often seen in films as the hero or the guy who the girl. They have an image of the perfect man who uses women as partners and men as role models. But what are we now?
